Giving Pieces Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 8/17/26

Welcome to Giving Pieces, operated by The Affiliate Doc LLC d/b/a Giving Pieces ("Giving Pieces," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the Giving Pieces website, mobile application, or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.

1. Eligibility

Giving Pieces is intended for users located within the United States.

Users under the age of 18 may use the Services only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By allowing a minor to use Giving Pieces, the parent or guardian accepts responsibility for the minor's use of the Services.

2. Accounts

You may use Giving Pieces by creating an account or, where available, by playing anonymously.

If you create an account, you agree to:

  • provide accurate information;

  • keep your login credentials secure;

  • notify us of any unauthorized access to your account; and

  • accept responsibility for all activity occurring under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Puzzle Points

Completing puzzles, purchasing eligible products, or participating in promotions may earn Puzzle Points.

Puzzle Points:

  • have no cash value;

  • are not property;

  • cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged;

  • are not redeemable for money or prizes;

  • may be modified, adjusted, or removed by Giving Pieces at any time.

Giving Pieces may revoke or adjust Puzzle Points obtained through cheating, automation, bugs, exploits, fraudulent activity, or other violations of these Terms.

4. The Giving Pool

Giving Pieces may establish and publicly display a monthly Giving Pool.

The amount of the Giving Pool is determined solely by Giving Pieces and may increase, decrease, or be discontinued at any time.

User participation influences the allocation of Puzzle Points among charitable categories but does not guarantee donations to any specific organization.

Giving Pieces retains sole discretion regarding:

  • the amount donated;

  • the organizations selected;

  • the timing of donations;

  • additions or removals of organizations; and

  • the charitable categories available.

Donations made through Giving Pieces are made by Giving Pieces and are not tax-deductible contributions by users.

5. Physical Products

Giving Pieces may offer physical products, including puzzles and other merchandise.

Because products are manufactured specifically after an order is placed:

  • All sales are final.

  • Colors and printed artwork may vary slightly from images displayed online.

  • Shipping estimates are approximate and are not guaranteed.

  • Risk of shipping delays rests with the shipping carrier.

If a product arrives damaged or defective, please contact arib@givingpieces.com. Giving Pieces may, in its sole discretion, reimburse the purchase price or arrange for a replacement order.

For missing puzzle pieces or similar manufacturing issues, please contact Giving Pieces. We will determine an appropriate solution on a case-by-case basis.

6. Future Products and Services

Giving Pieces may introduce additional physical products, digital products, subscriptions, memberships, merchandise, collectibles, or other offerings at any time. Additional terms may apply to those products.

7. Subscriptions

Certain Services may be available through automatically renewing subscriptions.

Subscription billing, cancellations, renewals, and refunds are governed by the applicable platform, including the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Giving Pieces does not control billing practices of third-party app marketplaces.

8. Promotions

From time to time, Giving Pieces may conduct contests, giveaways, seasonal events, or promotional campaigns.

Such promotions may be governed by separate official rules, which will take precedence over these Terms where applicable.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • cheat or manipulate gameplay;

  • use bots, scripts, macros, or automation;

  • exploit software bugs;

  • reverse engineer the Services;

  • interfere with other users;

  • copy or redistribute artwork without permission;

  • attempt unauthorized access to Giving Pieces systems;

  • engage in unlawful conduct while using the Services.

Violation of these Terms may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account.

10. Intellectual Property

All content available through Giving Pieces, including but not limited to:

  • Lord Grimsby Pieces

  • Margaret

  • artwork

  • illustrations

  • puzzle designs

  • logos

  • music

  • stories

  • animations

  • software

  • website design

  • text

  • trademarks

is owned by or licensed to The Affiliate Doc LLC d/b/a Giving Pieces and is protected by United States intellectual property laws.

No portion of the Services may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or commercially exploited without prior written permission.

11. Third-Party Links

Giving Pieces may include links to charitable organizations, retailers, payment providers, social media platforms, or other third-party websites.

We are not responsible for the content, security, availability, or privacy practices of third-party websites.

Accessing third-party websites is at your own risk.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Giving Pieces is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE."

We make no warranties regarding:

  • uninterrupted availability;

  • accuracy of information;

  • error-free operation;

  • compatibility with all devices;

  • availability of charities or promotions; or

  • future availability of features.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Giving Pieces and The Affiliate Doc LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the Services.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Giving Pieces during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

14. Termination

Giving Pieces may suspend, restrict, or terminate any account or access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we believe these Terms have been violated or if continued access would present legal, security, or operational concerns.

15. Modifications

Giving Pieces may modify:

  • these Terms;

  • Puzzle Point systems;

  • charitable categories;

  • organizations;

  • subscriptions;

  • pricing;

  • gameplay;

  • features; or

  • the Giving Pool

at any time.

Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any legal action relating to these Terms or the Services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located within Connecticut, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
